A Busy Week of Sales Across Ayr, Stirling & Beyond
It’s been another lively week here on the farm, with young farmer Jessica Kinloch (age 16) leading the way. Jessica sent some of her goats off to United Auctions at Stirling, where they were sold to Jamie Pirie for an impressive £150 each . A fantastic result for her stock and great encouragement for a young person making her mark in farming. Monday the 1st of December was equally busy as we moved store lambs to both United Auctions, Stirling and Caledonian Marts, Stirling .

Meet Our Newest Recruit: Logie Brunette Y352
At the end of October, we made the trip to the Stirling Bull Sales at United Auctions , where the renowned Logie Aberdeen Angus herd from Ellon was being dispersed. Sales like this are always full of anticipation — a chance to see some of the best cattle in the ring, and perhaps, if you’re lucky, bring home something special. This time, luck was on our side. From the Spotlight Sale to the Show Ring — and Now a New Arrival!
A few years ago, I treated myself to an early Christmas present — a lovely stirk named Blydale Chief Lynn , purchased at the Spotlight Sale in Carlisle .
