At the end of October, we made the trip to the Stirling Bull Sales at United Auctions, where the renowned Logie Aberdeen Angus herd from Ellon was being dispersed. Sales like this are always full of anticipation — a chance to see some of the best cattle in the ring, and perhaps, if you’re lucky, bring home something special.
This time, luck was on our side.
Among a strong lineup of quality cattle, one heifer in particular caught our eye:Logie Brunette Y352.
Stylish, correct, full of presence — she stood out immediately. When the bidding stopped, we were delighted (and maybe a little shocked!) to be the new owners of this beautiful cow. She has settled in quickly and is already proving herself to be a fantastic addition to our small pedigree Aberdeen Angus herd.
For us, this isn’t just another purchase. It's another step toward building the future of the Kinnie Herd — one cow at a time.
And on a personal note… I am smitten. Those ears. That head. The way she carries herself. Yes that is her on the front cover 💁♀️🖤🐮
We can’t wait to watch her develop, breed, and hopefully leave her mark on the herd for years to come.
Stay tuned — we have a feeling she’s going to be one to watch.
